First, please note—only amend your soil if you are reusing a medium or working with a medium that doesn't contain plant nutrients. These amounts are to be used with Gaia Green Organic dry amendments only.
 

While non-toxic, we recommend wearing a protective mask and gloves while handling Gaia Green products. Be sure to avoid contact with eyes and skin.
 

If you are growing in soil that has been previously amended or are unsure of your soil's nutrient levels, start by doing a soil test before adding any cannabis soil amendments.

When you start growing, the costs can add up quickly—and soil is one of the main expenses. However, re-amending your growing medium using Gaia Green is a great way to help save you some money.
 

Soil prices range widely, but generally, you could expect to pay $40-50 USD. That might not seem like a huge cost, but buying fresh soil/coco coir can add up with every new grow. If you were to re-amend that medium three times, you'd be saving $120-150.
 

Instead, you could use this money to buy seeds, a light upgrade, or a new grow tent.

Before reusing and amending your medium with cannabis soil amendments, I recommend removing any big masses of roots in the soil or coco coir. The smaller roots left behind will break down into nutrients for your plants, so don't worry about getting all of them.

 

You'll also want to break up any clumps in the medium for a smoother mixture. You may want to encourage better drainage by including around 10% - 15% perlite in the growing medium.

This schedule is for top dressing plants every 3-4 weeks. Double everything for amending new soil.

70/30 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Add 1 tbsp per gallon of medium. 

(Ex. 7 tbsp 4-4-4 & 3 tbsp of 2-8-4 for 10 gallons)

Blooming Stage:

50/50 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Add 2 tbsps per gallon of medium. 

(Ex. 10 tbsp of 4-4-4 and 10 tbsp of 2-8-4 for 10 gallons)

If you top dress twice in bloom, use a 70/30 Power Bloom to All Purpose ratio for the second feeding.

This schedule is for top dressing plants every 3-4 weeks. Double everything for amending new soil.

Blooming Stage:

70/30 of Power Bloom 2-8-4 & All Purpose 4-4-4; Add 2 tbsps per gallon of growing medium. 

(Ex. 14 tbsp of 2-8-4 and 6 tbsp of 4-4-4 for 10 gallons)
